Riverbend Elementary Parent Society (REPS)

A parent society is a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. The school principal is not part of this group. We are known as the Riverbend Elementary Parents Society or REPS. Please email rb.schoolcouncil@gmail.com to join.

Riverbend School Council

A school council is a collective association designed to advise the principal and the CBE Board of Trustees on matters related to the school. School councils have legislated advisory and decision-making authority. Riverbend School Council's mission is to contribute to the development of children who are Responsible, Well Educated, Compassionate, have a Sense of Community, a Love of Learning, and are Supportive, Kind and Inclusive.

All parents/guardians are members of the school council and are encouraged to attend the meetings and become involved in their child’s school community. We welcome your participation! Meetings usually take place on 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm.
